The Complete Works of William Shakespeare 37 plays 160 sonnets and 5 Poetry Books With Active Table of Contents eBook William Shakespeare
No point in reviewing the content, as everyone already knows the content - the format leaves a little to be desired. When I first opened it, it went to a Table of Contents which only included the comedies. This page included a 'link' to "Table of Contents" but that only came back to THAT page. Moving forward page by page I was taken to 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' (they're alphabetical by title) and once there the only ToC I could get was the listing of Acts/Scenes for that play! I was finally able to access other works by searching for 'Hamlet', which included a link to the FULL Table of Contents.I can't complain about the price ($.99) and I'm glad to have a reference copy of the complete works, but it's hardly user-friendly, hence the middling rating.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare 37 plays 160 sonnets and 5 Poetry Books With Active Table of Contents eBook William Shakespeare Reviews
I've looked over some of the work of this Shakespeare guy and I believe there is quality here. Worth a look!
He ...whoever he was... built one of the solid pillars of the English language. Another one being the King James Bible. But have you talked to many recent high school or college grads? Many don't know these works. In fact most don't know them.
This is off topic but many such graduates aren't even aware that men walked on the moon. Duh....
Shakespeare's writing is great, of course. We had a print copy of his works, but my husband and I both wanted to read The Tempest for a discussion group, so I ordered the ebook version. It was better than most free ebooks Someone really should proofread those visually, not just by spellcheck, but this was fairly accurate. However, during the discussion, frequent comments demanded turning to standard Acts and lines by number, and those were not referenced in the ebook version I downloaded, so I needed to borrow our print version to keep up with the discussion.
it would be nice to have a title before each play. I do like it but i do not know what play is being read.
's edition of the Complete Works of Shakespeare is certainly worth the download because--'zounds!--it's SHAKESPEARE! It's kind of cool and very convenient to have all of the Bard's works fit into a large jacket pocket and not have to lug around a heavy tome. The plays are organized according to genre (comedies, tragedies, and histories) and listed alphabetically, and the table of contents makes for easy navigation within the canon. Woe to thee, however, if thou seekest any commentary, background material, or glossary for the works as no such creatures do inhabit this edition. And, if bare-faced truth may bespeak itself without offence, the odd typographical error doth, upon occasion, present itself. But thou gettest what thou payest for, and at ninety-nine cents it's well worth the price.
Always good to have a compilation of Shakespeare on hand -- but this particular edition doesn't really work well on a . Don't get me wrong -- it is, indeed complete, just no footnotes or line numbers and other kinds of annotations you'd expect to come with reading Shakespeare. Haven't seen this book in a hard copy, but I don't recommend it for .
This is a classic. However, the layout is dreadful.
For me the single biggest mark against it is that the search function borders on the useless. When a reader cannot find classic quotations, something has BADLY misfired.
Tthe works deserve 6 stars! This format deserves 1.
Cannot tell which play I am reading once I pass the title page. Difficult to navigate to table of contents to find out; must keep paper notation to keep track.
